I have always enjoyed creative writing and doing too many things at once, and have decided that the optimal time to publish my first novel is while simultaneously raising two kids 6 and under and a puppy. As a result, approximately 30% of this novel was written in the bathtub on my phone.

I have always wanted to publish a novel (or two, or ten) and one day, this one just fell out of me. I drew the map for the continent featured in my story with my five-year-old daughter's help (though as of yet have been unable to fit a unicorn into the plot). I wrote all the anguish-filled, grief-riddled scenes in the wake of the unexpected death of our beloved, 9-year-old dog. I weaved into my story all the threads of the tropes I love, and set the ones I hate on fire.

Writing FRACTURED has lit a fire in me and I can't wait to keep writing. I would love to have you come along for the ride.
